Are McDonald’s french fries gluten free?
We do not promote any of our US menu items as vegetarian, vegan or gluten – free. Our fried menu items are cooked in a vegetable oil blend with citric acid added as a processing aid and dimethylpolysiloxane to reduce oil splatter when cooking. This information is correct as of January 2021, unless stated otherwise.
What is gluten free from McDonalds UK?
Note: these apply to UK McDonalds’s restaurants only. A McDonald’s hamburger, cheeseburger, Quarter Pounder®, and Big Mac® are all gluten free IF eaten without the bun. All McDonald’s burgers are made with 100% beef; so they’re not ‘beefed up’ with any cereal, rusk or flour.
Does McDonalds have gluten free burgers?
Unfortunately, we do not make gluten – free burgers as all of our buns and several burger ingredients including fried chicken patties and some of the sauces and condiments contain gluten. Our beef patties, grilled chicken patties and fries do not contain gluten.
Do McDonalds do gluten free buns?
We have no plans to introduce gluten – free buns to our menu at the moment. In addition to our Fries, we have a number of other options on our menu that also have no gluten containing ingredients including Hash Browns, Fruit Bags, Carrot Sticks and Shaker Side Salad® (with Balsamic Dressing).

According to Gluten – Free Living, Chick – fil -A’s waffle potato fries are cooked in separate oil than their breaded chicken. The fries are cooked in canola oil, and their breaded chicken is cooked in peanut oil. Their grilled chicken and grilled chicken nuggets (not the breaded ones) are also gluten – free.

The allergy menu states they can be cooked in the same oil as the red pepper and pesto goujons (aka Veggie Dippers).
